A Florida father was arrested for allegedly leaving two young children unattended in a car while he was at a strip club.
William Lee Jordan Jr. was taken into custody after he allegedly admitted to police that he left his 3-month-old son and a 3-year-old boy in a car while he was at Scarlett's Cabaret in Fort Myers.
According to WINK News, a woman reported hearing children crying in a vehicle in the strip club's parking lot.
When general manager Christopher Mays went to investigate, he said he found a toddler in the backseat with an infant unstrapped in the car seat.
Mays told 10 News that he stopped the dancers and announced that he was looking for the father of the two kids.
That's when Jordan, 23, went out to his vehicle.
He said Jordan was in the strip club for about 30 minutes and was glad someone heard the kids crying.
"I mean 3-months-old, he was upside down already ... he was panicking," Mays said. "God only knows how much longer an upside infant has in a car seat."
Jordan faces two counts of child neglect. He was released from jail after posting $10,000 bond.

I walked over to the vehicle and there seems to be an infant, a 3-month-old boy who is not strapped in the car seat, upside down," he said. "His head is where his feet should be, butt up in the air."

"It's devastating that people can do that to children," Mays told WINK News. "It really opens your eyes to what goes on in this world, how nasty things can be."
