Serial killer Charles Manson gravely ill as he's moved from prison cell to hospital

Convicted serial killer Charles Manson has reportedly been taken from his prison cell to hospital after falling gravely ill.

The former cult leader's worsening health is “not going to get any better for him", according to US media reports.
Manson was rushed from Corcoran State Prison in central California to a hospital 100 miles away in Bakersfield with an undisclosed complaint four days ago.


Sources told TMZ that the 83-year-old is now laying covered in blankets, looking ashen, and he is under police guard.

One source said the killer's health has been steadily deteriorating, adding: "It's just a matter of time.

He is currently serving nine life sentences for the 1969 Manson Family murders

He became notorious as the leader of a "family" of young killers that terrified Los Angeles.

Manson was convicted of killing seven people, including pregnant actress Sharon Tate, the wife of director Roman Polanski.

He is not eligible to apply for parole until 2027, the year he would turn 93.
